What is FolderWatch?

  FolderWatch is a program that monitors changes to a number of folders on your
computer and makes copies of files found in monitored folders. FolderWatch
works in background and makes copies of your work as soon as you save changes to
files. In fact, once you set up FolderWatch to suite your needs, you can forget
about it - program will do its job without wasting your valuable time.

  This software is provided "as is". In no event shall Diginaut Ltd. be liable
for any consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages of any kind

  You may not attempt to reverse compile, modify, translate or disassemble the
software in whole or in part.

  You may freely distribute the unregistered version of FolderWatch, provided
that all the files are included and are unmodified and that no files have been
added to the package. Please distribute it by copying the original zip file. You
may not ask any money for the distribution.

  If you want to put this component on a freeware/shareware CD-ROM or other
compilation, please contact us before doing so, to be sure that you are not
including old or incomplete stuff in the compilation. We would also appreciate it
if we'd get a free copy of the CD-ROM.

  You may try out the unregistered version of FolderWatch without any charge for
the period of 21 days. After that period, you have to register it or completely
remove it from your computer.

    Add Multiple Watches not to work at all. Script is fixed, correct version of

  x If monitored or destination folder is located on the network, FolderWatch
    will try to restart the Watch if it was stopped because remote computer
    was turned off or network went down.

  x Scheduled Watch type: With Scheduled Watch you will be able to monitor any
    type of folder, even on Internet.

  x Additional destination folders: Copy files to more than one location at once.

  x Append action: This type of action is intended to be used with streamable
    files, where it is not needed to copy whole file again but only part of the
    file that was appended to the end of the original file.

  x Multiple copies of backup files: With this option will allow you to have up
    to 9999 different backup copies.

What's new in FolderWatch 1.40?

  x License file used with previous versions of FolderWatch will not work with
    version 1.40. To upgrade, you should install new version and contact us at
    register@diginaut.com for free upgrade. Once we receive your email and verify
    that you purchased FolderWatch earlier we will send you the serial number
    free of any charge. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are trying to make it
    easier for you and all the other users of FolderWatch in the future.

  x Delete in destination folder and Move files from the source to the
    destination folder ... cannot be combined any more.

  x Various user interface tweaks.

What's new in FolderWatch 1.35?

  x License file used with previous versions of FolderWatch will not work with
    version 1.35. To upgrade, you should install new version, create new key
    file and send us the key file. Once we receive new key file and match it with
    your previous payment we will send you new license file that will unlock
    version 1.35.Upgrade is still free of any charge.

  x Help | Browse to... | FAQ Page menu item opens Frequently Asked Questions
    page from our Web site in your favorite browser.

  x If Keep log file option from Options dialog is enabled, FolderWatch will
    maintain a log file that contains file names of copied/moved files or folders.

  x Each Watch has an option that instructs FolderWatch if it should copy or move
    files from the source folder to the destination folder. This option can be
    found on Watch Properties dialog, Advanced page.
    Important: If this option is used with Delete in destination folder option
    both source and destination copies of file will be erased. Since move is made
    of copy and delete operation this is normal behavior.

Upgrade from earlier version

  Before installing FolderWatch 2.00, make sure to close FolderWatch
(if it is running).

  We recommend you to uninstall earlier version of FolderWatch from your computer
before installing FolderWatch 2.00.

  If you would like to upgrade earlier version of FolderWatch to version 2.00,
please follow these steps:

  x To uninstall version earlier version of FolderWatch from your computer you
    should open Control Panel and then double-click on Add/Remove programs icon.
    Select FolderWatch from the list and then click on the Add/Remove button.
    Note that all the settings that you entered into FolderWatch will be preserved
    after uninstall. You will not have to setup FolderWatch and all the Watches
    all over again.

  x Install FolderWatch 2.00. If you do not know how to install FolderWatch 2.00
    please read Installation section. You can install FolderWatch in the same
    location where earlier version of FolderWatch was installed or you can choose
    to install it into another folder. It's entirely up to you.

  We have changed registration procedure since last version. License files used
with previous versions are not used anymore. If you have registered previous version
of FolderWatch within 1 year please contact us at register@diginaut.com and you will
be issued a new authorization code free of charge.

Installation

  FolderWatch comes in Zip archive named FWatch.zip.
  To install this software, unzip that file to any folder and start FWatch.exe.
  You will be asked to answer few questions about location where you want to
install and what program group will FolderWatch use.

Uninstallation

  For your convenience, FolderWatch comes with full uninstall. If you ever decide
to uninstall FolderWatch:

  - Click on Uninstall FolderWatch icon in Start>Programs>Diginaut>FolderWatch menu
or
  - Open Control Panel, and then select Add/Remove programs. Select FolderWatch
    from the list and click Add/Remove button.
